Airline Credit Card Deals by American Express - New Features Give More Opportunities

The partnership between credit issuers and other companies proves to be extremely beneficial for both parties. Take for example, the partnership of American Express and Delta Air Lines. Last week they launched a new program for cardholders of Delta SkyMiles Gold and Platinum AmEx credit cards. Now American Express cardholders have more flexibility when using their air miles. So what opportunities do AmEx cardholders have now?

Frequent flyer programs that come with credit cards are definitely popular. But how long does it normally take to collect enough miles to get a free flight? Let us be honest, it's not so easy as it seems at the first glance. Now, AmEx Delta SkyMiles cardholders can pay for their airline tickets with their miles. This option provides more freedom to cardholders who would like to use their air miles for booking flights without restrictions and blackout dates. Read on for more information about "Pay with Miles" feature!

If you are a frequent flyer, you are sure to be an active user of some airline credit card. Plastics that allow accumulating air miles are really great for those who travel much. Once you prefer to fly with some particular airline, you will definitely like airline credit cards like Delta SkyMiles Gold from American Express, especially when this plastic gives you more freedom compared with other frequent flyer cards.

A long and fruitful partnership between Delta Air Lines and American Express has resulted in "Pay with Miles", an exclusive feature provided for premium cardmembers. This new SkyMiles feature enables customers to use their miles for buying airline tickets. You can also pay for the part of your ticket using your air miles on www.delta.com.

One can book any seat, in any class, on any route using the "Pay with Miles" option. That's a good chance to benefit from your credit card rewards without waiting for a long time. With this unique feature, SkyMiles cardmembers gain easy access to Delta Air Lines flights so that they get more control over their payment options.

It's worth saying that using your miles is as easy as can be if you are one of SkyMiles cardmembers. On the official site of Delta, you can log in using your SkyMiles number and pin. After that, feel free to select the flight you need with the icon "Pay with Miles". You can either pay for the ticket with your air miles, or you can pay for the part of the ticket.

The pricing in this program is flexible. It mostly depends on the base fares that do not include airline taxes and fees. So if the base fare of the flight is less than $100, cardmembers can redeem 25,000 miles to get the free flight. Once the base fare is between $100 and $250, feel free to redeem 10,000 miles for $100 off the price of the airline ticket.

In addition, it must be mentioned that cardmembers may earn the unlimited number of air miles, and the number of times you can use your air miles is also not limited. There is no enrollment required and on top of that this program is fee-free.

Interest-free Credit Cards

It is estimated that most cardholders are searching for 0% APR cards, or at least for cards with low interest rates. It would be awesomely great to carry the card that requires no interests to be paid. But do these cards really exist? Can you find the card with 0% APR? Yes, you can. Such credit deals do exist, but unfortunately they do not enable you to enjoy interest-free period for the life of your account. As the saying goes, good things come in small packages. And just like this, this interest-free period on your card will not last forever. The length of the promotional period is stipulated in accordance with your credit card agreement, and it varies from company to company. Though these deals look extremely tempting, cardholders should be very careful when choosing 0% interest card.

Credit Card Expiration Dates

Every product progresses through certain stages. When doing shopping, we pay attention to the expiration dates. The point is, some products become ineffective and even harmful after this date. It's all so clear when it comes to regular products that we buy on a daily basis.

And what about credit cards? Why do they have expiration dates? Does you plastic go bad after a couple of years of its usage? Not a plastic itself but its magnetic stripe. However, it's not the only reason why credit issuers include expiration dates on our credit cards.
