Credit Card Deals on Christmas - Plan Your Holiday Spending with Chase!

Christmas is coming and it's high time to think about Christmas tree, decorations, gifts, and entertainment. Let us be honest, it's so tough to resist the temptation of buying some fancy house ornaments or a nice holly berry decorative wreath. Year-end holidays give a chance to pamper our dear ones with the best wished-for gifts. The question is, how will this influence our family budget?

It's not news that most U.S. customers prefer using plastic while making purchases. That's quite easy to charge on credit cards, and equally hard to pay off the balance. In credit spending, planning is the name of the game. That's why Chase has created a new Holiday Spending Planner, an outstanding credit service that will be so helpful for customers this Christmas.

This credit service has been unveiled at an appropriate time, when most cardholders are concerned about heavy spending this Christmas. This free online tool is a part of Chase Clear and Simple program that aims at financial literacy of cardholders and smart credit use.

The Holiday Planner enables you to build a realistic budget in order to avoid extra holiday-related expenses that are not so rare. Everything is quite simple! With the help of this tool, you create online lists of gifts and other credit card purchases. This way, you can easily track your expenses and most obviously your lists will be quite long.

This tool is really unique, as you can even take it with you when doing Christmas shopping. After you have made your personalized plan, email it to your cell phone or your PDA, so that your plan will be right at hand. It helps you to avoid the purchases you didn't plan. That's a surefire method to avoid huge credit spendings on something that you don't really need.

The Planner is also valuable in view of the fact that it provides useful information and holiday tips for all cardholders. Following these tips, one will avoid overspending on credit cards and can easily manage his or her plastics during this busy time.

It must be said that this tool is easy-to-use, and every credit card user can adjust his or her expenses while doing shopping. In other words, you can see whether you stick within a budget, overspend, or even save.

Setting a budget is really essential, especially when it comes to holiday spendings that are generally quite big. Though it may look like Christmas celebrations are all about spendings, you can manage your finances and see the progress you make with the Holiday Spending Planner.

Credit Card Limits

Owners of high limit credit cards are proud of their status which speaks of the bank's favor and trust. Limit increase doesn't come by itself, sometimes it takes years of disciplined card use to prove the bank you've deserved it a better credit card deal. The day when you receive a statement offering to extend your credit line makes you happy and full of spending expectations.

But there some rare cases when a person, once offered an extended credit line, rejects the privilege. Or worse even, the person does accept the increased limit but later decides to lower it to the previous amount. The reason is put up simple: why borrow such a huge amount, when you are barely going to spend 20% of it?

Negotiating Credit Fees

Balance transfer credit cards are ideal when it comes to heavy balances. Shifting your high-rate balances to a card with much lower rates is a good idea. However, when choosing the right balance transfer card you should take a closer look at balance transfer fees, as they can be pretty hefty.

These days, it can be troublesome to find a card with no balance transfer fees. Due to a tough economic situation, creditors have pulled such credit offers from the market. However, it doesn't mean that you cannot find an offer with fair terms. With a wide variety of balance transfer cards on offer, you can always make a good deal!

Stolen Credit Cards

One of the things most people would hate to lose is a credit card or a wallet full of plastics. The point is, a lost or stolen credit card may become the reason for serious financial problems.

Much to cardholders' delight, credit cards come with a thick bunch of various credit benefits. One of them is zero liability coverage. It means that when your card is lost or stolen, you are liable only for $50. It's all well and good but it's still really crucial to know what to do when your credit card is lost or stolen.
