Frequent Flyer Cards offering the best Bonus Miles Promotions

2011-03-24

Rewards credit cards that offer air miles for every purchase made using the card is the best option for globe-trotting consumers who live out of their suitcase for a greater part of each month. But not all the frequent flyer cards in the market offer the bonus miles assured. There are, however, a few exceptions in this category. Finding cards that can really live up to your requirements can be a blessing.

JP Morgan Chase’s Continental Airlines OnePass Plus Credit card is considered to be the best in the frequent flyer cards segment. Consumers can benefit from the $50 credited to their account after using the card for the first time, in addition to 25000 bonus miles that get added on to the account. The bonus miles can be redeemed to avail round trip tickets to any place within the United States. Customers can gain eligibility for 10,000 bonus miles annually if they spend up to $25000 on the card. 2 miles for each dollar spent on Continental airline ticket and 1 mile for every dollar spent on other purchases are the other highlights of this card.

Miles, a credit card from Discover Cards, is another top favorite in the frequent flyer cards segment. This card does not carry any annual fee and awards one mile for every dollar spent on the card. Making at least one purchase using the card each month will entitle card holders to 1000 bonus miles every month for the first year amounting to a total of 12,000 air miles.

Chase Bank recently announced the redesign of its Visa credit cards - allowing more space on the front for the Chase logo. This new design is in trial mode currently but Visa has pans to roll out its new design to other financial institutions in order to increase the branding and logo visibility of the individual issuing banks.
