Answer I have a credit score of 683 equifax, 706 Transunion and 700 experian. I am trying to find a credit card with a decent balance transfer rate but when I applied for one I was denied. I do have some bad credit history but it has been over five years and I dont want to put in applications top every card company out there lowering my already not so great scores. The bad account that I had was with Capital One but it was paid off and it has been five years. Capital One has some good deals but I dont know if they will give me a card since I have a bad history with them. Can you please help.
Answer:
If you are afraid of being denied for Capital One good credit cards, do not risk - consider their deals for average credit. There are some really attractive offers with 0% intro rates, low ongoing APRs and moderate annuals fees. These cards are a perfect choice for those who want to streamline their credit through on-time monthly bill payments.

If you prefer to save with low interest rates on purchases and low interest on balance transfers, apply for Capital One Platinum card. You'll also benefit from 0% intro APR on purchases valid until May, 2009. Moderate annual fee applies.

A bit higher APR on purchases and balance transfers is offered by Capital One Classic Platinum but in return you'll enjoy a more attractive annual fee.

If you look for no annual fees in the first place pay attention to Capital One Standard Platinum. Though it has relatively high ongoing APRs, it still allows saving with 0% introductory rates. No annual fees make for greater everyday savings.

All the three cards come with manageable credit lines up to $3 000 which is big enough to make purchases but too small to get into deep debt.

Apply for a Capital One credit card now!

Answer How can I apply for a credit card?
Answer:
Choosing the right credit card is part of the process and determines its success. You can apply for a plastic card on our website but you should do it in a proper way. For this, check your credit report and the scores and apply for a card designed for your credit rating.

We can offer 3 bank cards which might interest you. If your credit history is good to excellent, a great choice is Blue from American Express®. If you qualify you'll get low introductory rates on balance transfers and 0% intro rates on purchases. No annual fee and point rewards are also offered.

If you have limited credit, for example you are a young adult working for living or a student looking to build credit, pay attention to Capital One Standard Platinum. It is a no annual fee deal with manageable credit limit and great savings opportunities on featured merchandise.

Answer What credit card should I use to purchase airline tickets? I will have the balance paid of within 12 months and do not plan to use it any other time.
Answer:

The best choice in your situation will be an airline credit card. The point is, these cards give valuable miles for your everyday purchases and more miles on eligible travel-related purchases, such as airline tickets.

If your credit rating is good or excellent, you may wish to review the following airline credit card offers available online. The Platinum Delta SkyMiles® from American Express can be a good choice for you, especially if you often fly with Delta or its airline partners. The best thing about this card is that it gives a large amount of bonus miles after your first purchase and there's no cap on the miles you can earn with the card.

The Miles by Discover Card is no fee card that gives a 0% Intro APR on purchases and balance transfers, plus the ability to earn double miles for travel and everyday purchases. Alternatively, you may review the Escape by Discover Card. This card gives unlimited double miles on all your purchases. That way, you can accumulate miles faster and redeem them for free flights, gift certificates or cash.

Take your time to review these airline credit card offers. Compare them side by side and choose the card that best meets your requirements.

Answer My credit score is 566, I want to know can i use any other credit care than First Premier Bank.
Answer:
There are a few cases you can get other cards than First PREMIER's ones even with such a low credit score. First, if you are a young person working for living and you have limited credit history, you can apply for Capital One Standard Platinum. It is a no annual fee card with a manageable credit line for those who only recently established credit and look for building it overtime. Major eligibility requirements are a stable income and absence of bad payments with current or past financial companies.

As an alternative, consider Capital One No Hassle PointsSM Rewards which has a moderate annual fee and relatively low interest rate along with the rewards program. The same requirements apply with this offer.

Second, if you are a college student, a good option would be Capital One Standard Platinum for Young Adults. It offers no annual fee and 0% APR on purchases until May, 2009.

In case you do have bad payments and you need to improve or rebuild credit, you cannot qualify for Capital One cards. Apply online if you qualify.

Answer Can I find a card without a balance transer fee? If not, what is the lowest % I can find?
Answer:
Currently, Capital One Bank offers a really wide spectrum of credit cards without balance transfer fees. You will also get some of the lowest % on balance transfers if you qualify. Capital One allows you to choose a card suiting your credit rating. Take a look at top three cards and apply for the right one online.

If you have excellent credit history, which means your FICO score is 750-850 and there are no bad payments in your credit file, apply for No Hassle MilesSM Rewards, a high limit credit card with a low non-intro APR on balance transfers and no transfer fee.

Capital One No Hassle CashSM Rewards is a perfect choice for good credit customers. It offers a higher APR on balance transfers but still no fee on them. There is no annual fee and there is an attractive cash back rewards program.

Answer My husband has multiple credit cards. Can i open a credit card in my name and transfer the balances
of his cards to it? I have better credit than he does.
Answer:
In fact, you can open a card in your name and have your husband's balances transferred to it. But, you should know you'll take legal responsibility for paying on them. If balances are not paid on, creditors will come after you, not your husband. We can suggest 3 balance transfer credit cards to choose from, but once you make final decision, we advise you contact the issuer to make sure they allow this option.

If you have good or excellent credit rating, More® Card from Discover is a great choice for making a balance transfer. You get 0% APR for 12 months to pay the balances off. After that, there is a low ongoing interest rate. No annual fees and low rates on purchases help you save on everyday card use. Remember that the amount of balances transferred should be below the limit on the credit card.

Chase Bank Platinum Visa® is also a great card to transfer balances to if your credit is good/excellent. If approved, you'll get 0% APR on both, purchases and balance transfers, and a lowest interest after the teaser period.

If your credit is good, consider applying for Capital One Platinum card. It offers 0% intro APR on balance transfers until October, 2009 and a competitive ongoing rate after that. No annual fee and small transfer fee apply.

Make sure your income is high and credit is strong enough for any of these credit cards. Apply online.

Answer Do you have any cards/ merchant cards that report unsecured credit lines on all 3 of youre credit reports and report timely payments to all 3 credit bureaus?
Preferably 5000-7500-10000
as unsecured credit on all 3 bureaus, obvioulsy after you order or purchas an item and make youre payments timely?
thank you very much
Ben
Answer:
Whether a certain credit card reports to credit bureaus depends on many factors, including the closeness of a bureau to your home. If it's important for you, contact the issuer to find it out before you apply. On our part we can suggest 3 credit cards that use at least two credit bureaus for reporting your payments. All of them are for good-to-excellent credit rating.

Capital One Platinum Prestige is offered for excellent credit applicants only which means you need to have a 750-850 credit score and long-term credit history. There is no annual fee and 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers until October, 2009. It reports your payments to Experian and Equifax credit bureaus.

Blue from American Express® is a high limit, no annual fee credit card that uses Experian and TransUnion credit bureaus to report your payments to. To qualify, you need to have a 660-850 credit score, long-term credit history and high income.

Discover More® Card requires good or excellent credit history to qualify. There is no annual fee and 0% on purchases for 6 months. This card reports to TransUnion and Equifax bureaus.

Answer i dont have any credit but i want to start establishing credit now but i went on every bad credit no credit website to get a card but i am not being approved for some reason i dont understand i am trying to get a car and other things please help me if u can thank you
Answer:
When a bank considers your application to determine whether to grant you credit or not, it takes into account many factors, including your employment record, income, assets, previous credit experience or its lack, etc. Therefore it is difficult to say exactly what the reason for your declines was as we have no access to your personal information.

If you didn't apply for a secured credit card yet, we offer you to try as secured cards are usually guaranteed approval offers. They are similar to unsecured ones but require making a bank deposit as a measure against risk of debt repayment. Such type of cards is very popular among applicants with no or bad credit history as they offer a good chance to be approved and build up credit. You can consider Black Diamond Visa card from Millennium Bank. It is a Visa-branded card that reports to the major credit bureaus enabling you to prove that you are a trustworthy customer. As soon as you prove your trustworthiness with help of secured card, you can change it to unsecured one without making any deposits.

Or, you can apply for unsecured credit card for bad or no credit, for example Total Visa card or Access Visa card from Plains Commerce Bank. They give an opportunity to learn credit decision instantly, offer outstanding customer service and reasonable fees.

All cards for bad or no credit come with rather low credit limit but may help you build a solid credit history if you use them properly.
