A cash back credit card is a good idea for people who want to get more benefits from their high credit score and good payment habits. To get some extra money just for using your plastic is undoubtedly great, however, cash back cards differ from one another, and it's hard to say which one will give you more benefits. So, what do cash back issuers offer to cardholders?

Typically, rewards cards come with no annual fee, and cash back plastics are no exception. But still, some cards do charge this fee. It ranges from $19 to $35, so pay attention to this feature when choosing a cash back card. If the card you have selected comes with an annual fee, weigh all pros and cons beforehand. Once this card offers payouts that are higher than annual charges, then it makes sense to apply for this card.

It comes as no surprise that today most cash back cards comes with 0% intro rates. What other introductory benefits you may get when making cash back credit deals? Some cards offer bonus rewards for new customers. They may be various from extra points right after the first purchase to double points on eligible purchases for a certain period of time. Don't get tempted with great introductory offers until you know for sure that ongoing features of this card meet your requirements.

It won't take you long to find the card offering a flat percentage of cash back across all the purchases you make with the card. But if you want to get more credit benefits, search for the plastics offering enhanced rebates in the most popular categories, including grocery, gasoline, and drugstore. It must be also said that some of cash back cards give generous rebates at certain retailers, restaurants, and more. Select the card in accordance with your likings and current financial needs.

Like it or not, about half of all cash back cards have redemption minimums. What does it mean? It means that you must charge a certain amount of money before you get cash back. For example, you must spend $2,500 to get the reward of $25. When choosing the card, do some to figure out how much you should spend to get this or that rebate. If it's worthwhile, go ahead!

Most cash back cards have cap on credit card rewards. These caps may be monthly or annual, or even both. It is recommended to choose the card with no caps at all. Otherwise, apply for the card with a high cap.
