- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card,
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card,
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card.
Starting January 9, all new holders of the eligible cards are given an opportunity to earn up to 75,000 bonus points. Here’s what exactly they can get:
- 40,000 bonus points after making $1,000 in purchases within 3 months of account opening;
- Extra 35,000 bonus points after making a total of $5,000 in purchases within 6 months of account opening.
Earlier, the promotion included only the 40,000 points earned after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first three months. Unfortunately, current cardmembers or previous cardmembers of any Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 24 months cannot qualify for the updated offer and get the additional 35,000 points. Anyway, new cardholders are also limited in time since the deal expires on February 10, 2020.
In addition to the welcome bonus, with any of the listed above Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards credit cards, you are guaranteed to receive:
- 2 points for each $1 spent on purchases made directly with Southwest Airlines®,
- 1 point for each $1 spent on all other purchases;
- 1 point for each $1 of the first $10,000 of balance transfers made during the first 90 days from your original account open date;
- Additional bonus points each account anniversary year;
- First and second checked bags.
The earned Rapid Rewards points can be redeemed for:
- Southwest Airlines flights,
- International flights operated by other airlines,
- Hotel stays,
- Rental cars,
- Gift cards,
- Merchandise.
